AMIS Culture Club Opening party of the new Center for Art on Migration Politics exhibition venue

Center for Art on Migration Politics (CAMP) invites AMIS Culture Club to their opening party and exhibition. CAMP's first exhibition is titled Camp Life and displays works that identify what the refugee camp/asylum center/detention center's policies are: What enables a 'camp' and what is its anatomy? How are refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants ‘administered’ in the global North and the global South? What do camps do to the subject? How is life lived in the camp as a child, youth, female, male, straight, queer, old?

At the exhibition there will also be a fashion show with artist-journalist, filmmaker and fashion designer Dady de Maximo's collection If the Sea Could Talk (2014).
