AMIS affiliate Martin Lemberg-Pedersen interviewed by Danish tv (in Danish)
On the television programme DR2 Dagen, Dr. Lemberg-Pedersen was interviewed about the latest numbers showing the irregular arrival of 107.000 refugees to the EU in July, and of 340.000 refugees so far in 2015. He talked about the likelihood that the Syrian refugee flow remain record high, the failed political strategy of tighter border control and deterrence, and the frightening prospects that the boosted control efforts is pushing the refugee flows towards the Balkans, where many countries not only have neither infrastructures of reception, nor the political will to accommodate refugees, but where several also have a very recent history of virulent and violent nationalist and fascist movements.
