Why state education for imams would not be the right solution (In Danish)
AMIS affiliate Birgitte Schepelern Johansen is interviewed in Kristeligt Dagblad on the recent idea of creating an official education for Imams. Johansen states that:
"I find it hard to imagine that it [an Imam education] would actually reach the people that politicians are most interested in influencing. For them a public imam education would probably have no legitimacy and spark no interest".
