Public lecture by Eric Uslaner On "Diversity, Segregation, and Trust"

Trust is fundamental for a well-functioning society. But some scholars have started to argue that things like diversity have a negative impact on societal levels of trust. Eric Uslaner, Professor of Government and Politics at University of Maryland, however, argues that residential segregation, and not diversity, is the real culprit in lower levels of trust, and that we instead need to look at the policies informing how we live together and what our opportunities are.
