AMIS afiiliate Dr. Lemberg-Pedersen interviewed by TV2 on new survey among Syrian refugees (in Danish)
AMIS affiliate Dr. Martin Lemberg-Pedersen interviewed by TV2 about a new survey among 200 Syrian refugees on the reasons why they ended up in Denmark. He points out that even if researchers must qualify the use of such an informal and small survey, it is very interesting since it is a first of its kind in Denmark, since it is aligned with the existing research on refugees' choice of destinations, and since it undermines the claims made by Venstre in the election campaign, and by Socialdemocrats months earlier, that refugees can be deterred from going to Denmark, if cuts are made in certain welfare benefits.
