Massive 30.000-demonstration welcoming refugees to Denmark featured speech by artists, activists and AMIS affiliate Lemberg-Pedersen

During this historically large demonstration, the organizaers and participating crowds demanded a more humanitarian and welcoming Danish policy, and criticized politicians for shying away from their responsibility. Lemberg-Pedersen stressed that eventually, the political system will seek to return to normalcy and humanitarian consequences out of sight of the larger European public. He reminded everyone that such a status quo ought not to be a morally available option, since it has led to the deaths of over 25.000 people since 1993.
