How to become a visiting scholar at AMIS

AMIS places great value on international exchange and attracts scholars and students from many different countries. We welcome applications from scholars, who wish to participate in the intellectual life of the center, including our AMIS research clusters, brown bags and seminars.

If you wish to apply to become visiting scholar at AMIS for a period of time, please send a brief motivation letter and your CV to AMIS director Marie Sandberg: amis@hum.ku.dk.

We receive many applications, so applicants need to state a clear purpose of the research stay and motivate why AMIS has the desired profile for fulfilling this purpose. We review applications on a running basis, but please allow for an application review period of min. 6-8 weeks.

Please note that if your hosting is approved, a bench fee of 500 EUR per month is charged in order to compensate for costs related to office facilities, infrastructure, secretarial support etc. If there is no workspace available, a stay can be arranged without bench fee.
